Multiple injuries reported in 19-vehicle crash in Cajon Pass area

CAJON PASS, Calif. (FOX 11) - Multiple people were injured Wednesday morning in a 19-vehicle crash along the 15 Freeway in the Cajon Pass area, San Bernardino County officials said.

The crash was reported around 9:30 a.m. on the southbound side of the freeway near Oak Hill Road.

Preliminary reports indicated that 35 people suffered minor to moderate injuries, according to San Bernardino County fire officials.

Southbound lanes of the 15 Freeway were briefly closed in the area as a result, according to Caltrans.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known, but caltrans officials advised drivers to use caution when driving through the area due to fog.
