Man arrested on suspicion of DUI in connection with hit-and-run
ALHAMBRA, Calif. (FOX 11/ CNS) - A 21-year-old motorist was booked on suspicion of felony drunk driving and felony hit and run for his alleged role in a traffic crash in Alhambra that injured a mother and her daughter, police said Saturday.
El Monte resident Abundio Flores-Ramon was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail and his first court appearance has been scheduled for Wednesday, the Alhambra Police Department reported.
A mother and daughter were injured in the collision at Main and Fourth Streets in Alhambra at 8:48 p.m. Friday.
The daughter is listed in serious but stable condition and her mother was treated and released, according to police.
According to media reports, Flores-Ramon then continued driving for four blocks, where his vehicle crashed and struck two more people, whose conditions are not known.
