The mural is by Jonas Never, who spent two days with spray cans and house paint, according to Variety.

Bennington was found dead July 20 in his Palos Verdes Estates home of an apparent suicide.

"I grew up listening to (Chester)," the Venice, Calif., native told Variety. "I used to take the pitching mound to the sound of 'One Step Closer' (off of debut album 'Hybrid Theory')."

The pizzeria has a Dave Grohl mural on its storefront, also created by Never.

"I'd been seeing that big blank wall from the 101 and thought it would be good for something," he said.
