Firefighters battling 50-acre brush fire on NB 101 Fwy in Camarillo

(FOX 11) - Firefighters are battling a 50-acre brush fire along the 101 Northbound Freeway in Camarillo, officials say.

This is on the west end of the Conejo Grade.

Traffic on the westbound 101 is slowing to a crawl from Thousand Oaks to Camarillo.

Ventura County Fire reports the fire is at 50-acres and no homes are threatened.

A road on the north side of the fire is acting as a fire break.

Fire crews, including helicopters and a bulldozer are on the scene.
