Family of missing Simi Valley man is crowdsourcing finding him

Five months after a young man from Simi Valley went missing, his family has a new strategy to possibly track him down.

The family released nearly 800 drone images of the area his car was found.

They are hoping someone can zoom in to them and maybe catch a glimpse of the 21-year-old or his clothing.

"Those photos are tagged to a number and linked to an area - so if you find something in that photo they know where that photo is from," says Weaver's aunt Tamara Spatz-Tornero.

The family says he was last scene wearing an Angel baseball hat, t-shirt, Dickie pants and red shoes.

They are now offering a big reward if he is found - $50,000 dollars.

Nothing turned up.

The family says they are not giving up hope though.

"It's a matter of time. The truth will show itself and truth will prevail," says his uncle James Weaver.
