Concerns over 'Spice' drug rises as several overdoses reported on Skid Row

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - Authorities say three people were stricken by an unknown drug Saturday in the same Skid Row area of downtown LA where seven others overdosed the previous night.

LA police say an officer also was sickened by fumes near San Pedro and Fifth streets...where LA firefighters were sent about 7:15 pm Friday.

Tests are underway on the drug .. called Spice ... which is a vegetable sprayed with unknown hallucinogens.
