Bikers rally in support of student who filmed teacher's anti-military rant

Bikers rallied outside El Rancho High School Monday morning in support of the student who filmed a teacher giving an anti-military rant in class last month.

Gregory Salcido was filmed slamming military members as "the frickin' lowest of our low" and saying, among other things, "If you join the military, it's because you have no other options because you didn't take care of business academically."

The bikers, many of whom are veterans, are asking for the removal of Salcido as a teacher at the Pico Rivera high school and they are showing support for 17-year-old Victor Quinonez who captured the tirade after he says Salcido saw a Marines sweatshirt he wore to class.

Quinonez's mother says despite the massive support her son is getting, he is also receiving threats online and that's why she is keeling him and his brother home from school at this time.

"We'll get you for what you did to our favorite teacher," and "Don't show up to school anymore for your safety," are some of the messages she says he's received.

The school district continues to investigate to determine what action to take.
