Apple Valley Police searching for 'critical missing' 6-year-old boy

Authorities in Apple Valley were searching for a "critical missing" 6-year-old boy on Friday.

Duke Flores, 6, was last seen in the area of Cherokee Avenue and Pawnee Road in the Town of Apple Valley, Calif., police said. The closest major intersection is Navajo Road and Hwy 18.

Flores is described by authorities as a light-skinned Hispanic male juvenile who stands approximately 3 foot 10 inches tall. He is tall for his age and has brown hair and brown eyes, police said. He does not have any medical issues.

Apple Valley Police did not provide details surrounding why the boy is missing, only stating that "Duke Flores is a critically missing juvenile."
