Another case of measles out of LAX confirmed by health officials

Los Angeles County Officials on Wednesday confirmed another case of measles involving a passenger who arrived on a flight at LAX.

The infected passenger was on United Airlines Flight 240 that arrived at Gate 76-A in Terminal 7 between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on March 5, 2019.

That person also visited an Enterprise Rent-a-Car location in the 1700 block of Wilshire Boulevard between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. the next day.

On February 21, 2019, another case of measles was reported involving a passenger who arrived at the Tom Bradley Terminal from China.

Health officials do not believe the two cases are related but they urge anybody who may have been in either Terminal 7 or the Bradley Terminal on the days specified to contact their doctor.
