DWP Crews Work To Repair Water Main Break In Fairfax District

(FOX 11 / CNS) A rupture in a 6-inch water main today interrupted service to about two dozen customers in the Fairfax district.

The problem was reported about 5:10 a.m. in the 8300 block of Blackburn Avenue, between Crescent Heights and La Cienega boulevards, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power reported. Crews were sent to make repairs.

The rupture was fixed by 1:11 p.m., Gale Harris of the DWP said. She said she did not know how much water was lost.
