Crews battle heavy house fire in Van Nuys
LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles City firefighters responded to the 13800 block of W. Valerio Street in Van Nuys Thursday night.
The fire broke out just before 10 p.m. Flames could be seen shooting out from the home's attic. All occupants got out safely, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No injuries were reported. It took 31 firefighters and 27 minutes to knock down the heavy fire burning within the attic.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
