Former 'Bachelorette' Emily Maynard on growing family and new book

LOS ANGELES (FOX 11) - A lot has changed in the life of former "Bachelorette" Emily Maynard.

Fans of "The Bachelorette" show may remember her receiving the final rose from Brad Womack on Season 15. The relationship didn't work out, and Maynard returned as "The Bachelorette" to find new love with contestant Jef Holm.

However, they too parted ways.

It may have been a longer road, but Maynard ended up finding love at church in her hometown of Charlotte with husband Tyler Johnson.

Maynard stopped by Good Day LA on Friday to promote her new book "I SAID YES: My Story of Heartbreak, Redemption, and True Love."

You may be wondering, why on earth would one continue to look for love on reality television? Maynard said while much of the show is a surreal experience (ie. there isn't dramatic music playing in the background), she had very genuine intentions.

"For some crazy reason I felt like maybe that was where I was going to meet my husband," she said. "I had love in my heart for them all, but I don't know if I was in love."
