Disney bans smoking, ice, and over-sized strollers at all theme parks

Leave the cigarettes at home when you visit Mickey Mouse: Disney announced Thursday that smoking inside all of their theme parks will be banned.

The company made the announcement Thursday about a few rule changes set to go into effect at their parks.

As far as smoking areas, those will no longer exist inside the parks including Walt Disney World in Orlando, Disneyland theme parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Downtown Disney in California, and all water parks, according to Disney Parks blog.

The only designated smoking areas will be found outside the entrances of the parks and at Disney Springs in Orlando.

If guests are staying at Disney Resort hotels and have room or dining reservations, there will be designated smoking areas to use.

The ban goes into effect May 1. But that's not the only change.

Also starting May 1, any strollers over 31-inches will not allowed. The current limit is 36-inches.

Disney also said that starting immediately, if you plan to bring a cooler or cooler bag to store snacks and drinks, loose or dry ice are no longer permitted in the parks.
