PHOENIX (AP/FOX 10) - A record label says both members of British indie duo Her's have been killed in a wrong-way car crash in Arizona.
They were young and on the verge of making it big in the worldwide music industry. Her's performed for a sold-out crowd at the Rebel Loung in Phoenix and from here, they hopped on the Interstate 10 headed west to Southern California, where they would wrap up their North America tour. Sadly, their show here was their last.
After the show, the band stuck around to meet and mingle with their fans. One fan and photography says the guys of Her's were down-to-earth.
"They were talking about burritos next door and he brought out his meal," said fan Justin Yee. "I don't think he has a chance to finish and we were just talking about burritos and Arizona."
Stephen Chilton, the owner of Rebel Lounge, said the band had only a few more shows before heading home.
Heist or Hit says in a statement that Stephen Fitzpatrick, 24, and Audun Laading, 25, died alongside their tour manager, 37-year-old Trevor Engelbrektson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, in a collision early Wednesday.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed the victims' names on Friday.

DPS says a pickup truck driving in the wrong direction along westbound I-10 hit a van head-on about 75 miles west of Phoenix, killing the truck's driver and three people in the van.
The driver of the pickup truck has been identified as 63-year-old Francisco Rebollar of Murrieta, California.
The Liverpool-based duo released its debut album, "Invitation to Her's," last year.
The record company said in a statement: "Their energy, vibrancy and talent came to define our label. As humans, they were warm, gentle and hilarious. Everyone here at the label is overwhelmed and distraught. We have lost our friends and the world has been denied their talent."
"[It's a] super tragedy," Chilton said. "That band had so much potential [and] so much future in front of them."
