LOS ANGELES - Alexander is a playful 8-year-old with a rambunctious personality. He’s an enthusiastic kid who enjoys being exposed to new things. His endless favorites are puzzles. Alexander can be shy initially, but will be your best friend once he gets to know you. His favorite times are those spent actively outdoors or engaged in taking something apart and putting it back together.
In addition to puzzles, Alexander is also a car guy; he spends much of his time playing with his toy cars. If you’re lucky enough, you might hear him singing. Like many kids his age, he also enjoys playing games on his tablet. Alexander is a child with some special needs. He’s grown a lot in a loving and nurturing foster home and has become very affectionate. He likes to share it with people that he knows. He’s now ready for a permanent home through adoption and for opportunities to grow and flourish there.
Alexander will do best in a home with a structured environment and set routines with consistent and familiar people. He works best with positive reinforcements and simple instructions and redirections. Alexander receives specialized services and the family that steps forward for him will continue to receive those supports.
And by the way, Alexander’s favorite foods are chips, cheese pizza, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. He is also known to be a little helper, and participates in completing chores on a daily basis.
