Man's body found near Santa Ana railroad tracks

SANTA ANA, Calif. (FOX 11) - The body of a man in his 20s was found near railroad tracks in Santa Ana Thursday afternoon prompting an investigation by homicide detectives.

Police were called to the 3400 block of W. Segerstrom Avenue at about 1:30 p.m. and located a deceased Hispanic man.

Authorities continue investigating the circumstances surrounding the death but say it is suspicious in nature.

Detectives are asking anyone that saw any suspicious activity in the area of the 3400 block of W. Segerstrom on Thursday between the hours of 4 a.m. and 1 p.m. to call Santa Ana Police Department at 714-245-8390.
