Florida police show symbol of hope amongst the storm

Just days after Hurricane Irma struck and on the anniversary of September 11, a local Florida police station took the time to display a symbol of hope amongst the storm.

Coral Springs Police posted a video to Facebook on Monday showing a first responder picking up an American flag that was left in the streets after the storm. He picked it up, waved it in the air and reminded everyone we can get through the tough times together.

"Even in the midst of a storm, we are reminded of the love for our country and community. #HurricaneIrma #September11," the post read. It has been shared over 700 times as of Tuesday afternoon.
