Cluster of small earthquakes shakes-up Huntington Beach

- The second of two earthquakes to shake the Huntington Beach area struck this morning, authorities said.

A magnitude-3.1 earthquake was reported three miles west-northwest of Huntington Beach at 3:40 a.m.

A magnitude-2.6 earthquake struck about four miles west-southwest of Huntington Beach, at about 10:44 p.m. Sunday, the USGS said.

People reported on the USGS' "Did You Feel It?'' website that the earlier quake was weak, and reported no damage.

It was felt mainly around Huntington Beach, Seal Beach and Long Beach.

The reports about this morning's quake were  similar, except reports of weak shaking came from an area south of Temecula in addition to the immediate vicinity.
