LOS ANGELES (FOX 11) - India Carney made her singing debut on season eight of NBC's "The Voice" and made it to the top 5 on Grammy-award winner Christina Aguilera's team.
The Brooklyn Native has a strong classical foundation with a wide range of musical genres from opera to musical theater to pop. She recently sang the National Anthem at the Rose Bowl -- and just graduated from UCLA earning her Bachelor of Arts in Music.

You can catch Carney on Sept. 24 at the 2nd annual YoungArts Awareness Day, a nationwide initiative to encourage emerging artists to pursue their dreams of becoming professional artists.
YoungArts alumni including Carney, singer-songwriter Fiona Grey, and choreographers/dancers Jay Jackson and Michelle May will star in a disco/pop concert directed by R&B singer-songwriter Black Gatsby at Madame Siam in West Hollywood.
