StubHub sells two courtside NBA Finals Game 7 seats for $49,500 each

Would you pay nearly $50,000 to sit courtside for Game 7 of the NBA Finals?

Someone bought two seats for $49,500 a piece Friday on StubHub, FOX 8 reports.

It is the most expensive ticket ever re-sold on the website for a seat not located in a suite, including tickets for the Super Bowl.

After two straight losses that have forced a winner-take-all Game 7 in the NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night, the Warriors are one game away from either capping the most successful season in NBA history or the greatest Finals collapse.

"Game 7 is the hottest NBA ticket we've ever had," a StubHub spokesperson told the station.

The price of the seats topped the previous record of $37,000 paid on StubHub for a courtside seat to Game 4 of the NBA Finals in 2008 between the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics, ESPN reports.

StubHub also sold a seat to the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight in May for $35,000.
