The three-day comic convention is one of the largest on the west coast. More than 60,000 people showed up to the Anaheim Convention Center on Friday.

"It's a bunch of people coming together doing awesome nerdy things, comic books, video games and art, so it's a lot of fun," said a woman dressed as a pirate.

"Last Man on Earth" star Will Forte says he's dressed up as the Hulk in the past.

"I bought these big inflatable muscle things you had to hand pump, and I'd tell people you don't want to seem me when I'm angry," Forte said whisk demonstrating how he would blow the pads up.

His new comedy, Last Man on Earth is about the life and adventures of the last man on earth. The character Phil Miller , who was once just an average guy who loved his family and hated his job, is now humanity's last hope.

"We try to make a show that we would want to watch. and unfortunately I'm kind of a weird dude so some of its a bit weird.

Moving from comedy to mystery, stars from FOX's other new show Wayward Pines enjoyed the convention, but we at FOX11 wanted to know more about the 10-episode intense psychological thriller!

Actor Reed Diamond, also known from Agents of Shield and 24, says the town is not what it seems.

Wayward Pines is a very mysterious place. It's impossible to leave," Diamond says.

Actor Tim Griffin, who appeared in American Sniper, showed up in his "nerd" t-shirt. He says he loves being a part of the new show.

"There are spoilers every week which is just so gratifying as a viewer," Griffin said.

Donald De Line, Executive Producer of the show tells us he's so happy with how the show turned out.

"Something's not quite right [in Wayward Pines], just like it aoften is when things are too perfect," De Line said.

Wayward Pines Premieres in May. 14th. As for WonderCon, the event continue through Sunday!
