Whittier Residents Find KKK Propaganda Fliers On Lawns

WHITTIER (CNS/FOX 11) - Some residents of a residential street in Whittier awoke Sunday to find what police called Ku Klux Klan propaganda inside plastic bags weighed down by Tootsie Roll candy and small rocks.

A resident in the 5400 block of Adele Avenue called police about 6:25 a.m. to report the discovery, said Whittier police Sgt. Aaron Ruiz.

"It appears that they (the flyers) were disseminated overnight to several homes. They were found on their front lawns," said Ruiz, who did not disclose what was exactly on the flyers.

"There were no threats on the flyers, just KKK propaganda."

Last week, similar KKK candy-baited fliers were scattered around a few Orange County streets.
