Richard Marks, who helped created the Morpheus goggles, says VR isn't new. It's just moved up to the next step! "But now," he says, "we can do it at a lot lower price point with a lot higher quality than we ever could. The technology has really improved. A lot of has to do with the display technology and the tracking technologies."
Adam Orth created a space epic called "Adrift" that requires you find ways to fix your oxygen system or you die. He says, "We live in a time where the technology is evolving so fast that we have access to things we never thought we'd have access to."
You can float in space or take on the same Walking Dead as on TV. And, the game's creator, Emmanual Marquez, says he wanted players to be able to see all around them adding his vision was making something that would show you a 210 degree angle of virtual life, "I wanted to create something that was exactly the same. So, you have no motion sickness. You get inside. It's immediate. Like in real life."
