Suspect Questioned In Hawthorne Shooting Death

The victim, who was not identified, was found in the 13000 block of South Prairie Avenue around 1:45 a.m., Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Deputy Kelvin Moody said.

Homicide detectives were sent to investigate the circumstances of the shooting. At least one person was detained for questioning, a deputy said.
