Smyrna Police really know how to bring home the bacon

It was just a typical Saturday night for several Smyrna police officers fighting crime and capturing swine.

A call to one neighborhood hogged a lot of the officer's time. It seemed a pet pig from down the street got loose and was sitting in the caller's front yard.

Police said initially the pig was not cooperative and running around all hog wild from the officers. It soon grew boar-ed and laid down, belly up, demanding affection.

Smyrna Police posted a hammed-up photo about the encounter on their Facebook page. They said its name is Pepper the Pig.

In the end, the officers were able to bring home the bacon and the little piggy cried "wee, wee, wee" all the way home.

That's some pig and completely dedicated officers!
