Skier Survives Terrifying 1,600-Ft Plunge Down Mountain

A skier miraculously survived a 1,600-foot plunge down an Alaska mountain that was caught on video.

Expert skier Ian McIntosh lost control when he struck a trench in the Neacola mountain range, sending him tumbling and screaming. Amazingly, he was able to sit up at the end of the ordeal to report: "I'm OK, I'm OK."

The fall happened while McIntosh was working on the ski and snowboard film "Paradise Waits" by action sports company Teton Gravity Research.

TGR's co-founder Todd Jones described the McIntosh's crash as the scariest he'd ever witnessed.
