See little girl's joy as she learns she's being adopted

A video showing a little girl the moment she learns she's being adopted has no sound- but none is needed to feel the joy in the room.

Jackie Alexander, who works as a school office manager in Utah, delivered the happy news to 11-year-old Tannah Butterfield on October 2.

Alexander shared the video on Instagram, writing, "This is pure testament that in a world full of turmoil and strife, there is still light and joy to be found in little everyday moments."

Alexander also writes that she knows the family and has watched them fight to adopt three foster children that attend the school where she works.

She says the girl's new mom called her on October 2 to tell her they finally were going to be able to adopt the children and asked her to deliver the news immediately.

Security cameras at the school captured the touching moment.

"In 12 years at this job, this is by far my best moment ever!! To tell a little girl that she gets her family forever takes the cake. I can't even describe that hug...and thank heavens her mom doesn't mind that I kissed her a million times, and a million more after the film cuts off," Alexander writes.
