UPS driver logs 4 million miles without an accident

This man has been driving a UPS truck for more than 40 years -- through traffic, blizzards and road rage -- and remains accident-free.

Most recently, Roosevelt Green of South Carolina logged 4 million miles without an accident, according to The Greenville News.

To put that into perspective, he has driven the distance of eight trips to the moon and back.

Green joined UPS in 1971, the paper reports, and says the key to his success is distraction-free driving.

"If people would just obey the laws, and not talk on the cell phone," Green told the paper. "These people are on their telephones and some of them are smoking a cigarette and it's scary. I always watch before I pass, if they are touching the lines. If they just obey the laws we have, I think we will be all right."

Green, 71, wears a 40 patch on his uniform to represent his induction into the UPS Circle of Honor for driving 40 years without a wreck.

Now that is setting the bar high!
