This is What 28,815 Teddy Bears Thrown Onto an Ice Rink Looks Like

The Calgary Hitmen hockey team had a 40-minute delay during Sunday's game after fans threw 28,815 teddy bears onto the rink.

The Teddy Bear Toss has been an annual fundraising tradition for the team for 21 years, and nearly 300,000 teddy bears have been donated since the tradition began. The 28,815 bears — tossed by 19,289 fans — will be donated to more than 50 charities.
