This actual cat burglar keeps stealing men's underwear and socks

An actual cat burglar has been stealing men's underwear in New Zealand -- and the cat's owner is hoping to return the intimates to the original owners.

Brigit, a 6-year-old Tonkinese cat, has stolen 11 pairs of boxers and more than 50 pairs of socks in the last two months, her owner Sarah Nathan tells the New Zealand Herald.

"Now it's getting silly. This is Brigit's haul from the last two months. Every morning we wake up to more. I've put notes in every letterbox in the street. Someone must be missing this stuff. Please share if you know someone who lives in the George St area," she writes.

Nathan said the clothes were clean (luckily) and most likely stolen from a nearby clothesline, according to the Herald.

"We just did a really big gardening session and we found a whole bunch of them stuck in the fence," she tells the paper.

Bad kitty!
