"The Force is strong with this flight" New 'Star Wars' Themed Jets

Stormtroopers stood guard and that unmistakable theme played as Boeing and Japan's All Nippon Airlines (ANA) rolled out the first "Star Wars" themed jet to a cheering crowd and a proud C-3PO and R2-D2 just outside Seattle, Washington over the weekend.

The Boeing 787 "Dreamliner" features the art design of the much loved droid R2-D2. Eventually there will be a fleet dedicated to six different star wars characters. This jet is set to make its first international flight in October when it is scheduled to fly passengers between Tokyo's Haneda Airport and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The themed planes were first announced in April, and this jet is the first of three themed jets from the epic sci-fi movies. One of the other designs features the new droid BB-8 which will be seen in the new upcoming film 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens.' The other design will feature both robots.

And of course, as part of the in-flight entertainment -- all six 'Star Wars' movies will be played for passengers.

The new planes are expected to take to the skies in early 2016.
