Crazy lightning strike looks like a T. rex

A photo of a lightning bolt is going viral for its striking similarity to a Tyrannosaurus rex.

The U.S. Department of the Interior posted the stunning photo to Instagram and Facebook and wrote, "Have you ever seen lightning make such crazy shapes? This bolt looks like a Tyrannosaurus rex getting ready to chomp a formation at Blue Mesa in Arizona's Petrified Forest National Park."

While others see the strike as resembling more of a heart-shaped balloon, all can agree it looks pretty awesome.

The U.S. Department of the Interior says monsoons usher in summer lightning and advisers visitors to check the weather before exploring.

The photo was taken by Hallie Larsen of the National Park Service.
