VIDEO: Color-changing mermaid pillows are a hit!

DALLAS, TX (KDFW) - Want to change up your decor? A new viral video from FOX 4 in Dallas features a couple of throw pillows that let you change up your design over and over again.

Consumer reporter Steve Noviello found the "mermaid" pillows during a recent shopping trip at Nebraska Furniture Mart.

The pillows have sequins that resemble fish scales. You can change the color of the fabric and go from modern to monogrammed with just a swipe of the hand.

"It's called the mermaid pillow because you can change it life a fish into a woman," Steve's friend Michael Shippy joked. "They're $149, but you have to realize that it's probably 1,000 different pillows in one. So it's really pennies on the dollar."

The video has been viewed more than 30 million times on Facebook, and Steve said he's received calls and emails from people all over the world who want to buy the pillow.

Nebraska Furniture Mart doesn't sell them online, but Dallas-area vendor Bling Is The New Black is willing to ship the pillows in several different colors worldwide.

The fabric itself is also available on Amazon in various color combinations.
