PITTSBURGH, PA (FOX 11) - A 4-eared cat named Batman was brought into the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society and has now found his forever home.
According to the WPHS the rare mutation is genetic and has been documented back to 1938 with a 4-eared cat named Toots. The mutation is recessive meaning both parents must have 4 ears in order to produce a cat with 4 ears.
3-year-old Batman was put up for adoption this week after being treated for a respiratory infection.
The cat was adopted within just a few hours by a little girl and her mother. WPHS shared the below video of Batman on YouTube.
