Rain Soaks Red Carpet At Oscars 2015

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences had the red carpet partially covered on Friday, but with the National Weather Service predicting a 40-50 percent chance of rain for tonight and continuing into Monday, more covering was hastily installed over the weekend.

So other than being slightly chillier than they would probably like, the stars stayed generally dry as they made their way into the 87th Oscar ceremony.

Forecasters said the rain -- generally light but steady in much of the area -- is likely to continue overnight and into Monday, with clearing expected later Monday and into Tuesday.
