Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz stepping down to focus on premium coffee stores

The announcement came Thursday that Starbucks co-founder Howard Schultz is stepping down as company CEO.
He'll be replaced by COO Kevin Johnson.
In addition to making Starbucks the number one coffee maker in the world, Schultz implemented programs
to send employees to college and to encourage the hiring of veterans.
He also sparked controversy by asking customers not to bring guns into stores and urging Starbucks employees to have conversations on race relations.
Schultz will now concentrate on creating premium reserve stores that would include roastery and tasting rooms.
