Lawyer for 'El Chapo' says drug lord is being tortured in prison

The lawyer for Mexican drug lord 'El Chapo' Guzman who's currently being held in a federal prison in Mexico claims the man is being tortured.
Guzman is currently being held in a federal prison near the Mexican border.

His attorney, Jose Refugio Rodriguez, says his client is suffering form acute isolation which is a form of isolation.
He says Guzman is not being allowed to sleep, mix with other prisoners or receive enough visits.

That apparently has caused him anxiety and driven up his blood pressure to dangerous levels.

Guzman's lawyers are fighting for their client to be moved back to the maximum security prison in central Mexico from where he escaped through a mile-long tunnel in 2015.
