As part of the Bibb County "Consider the Consequences" program, Superior Court Judge Verda Colvin is captured on video telling the participants to "be somebody" and to care about their futures.

The program aims to steer troubled teens in the right direction. The kids, ages 9 to 17, experience what it's like to be in jail.

The teens put on a jump suit, are placed in a cell and meet with a judge, according to FOX Atlanta.

"You're special. Stop being disrespectful to your parents. Care about your future. Be somebody. Anybody can be nothing. Be something," Judge Colvin tells the teens. "Care about yourselves. Do it. The only person stopping you is you. Do you understand me?"
