Police said the candy bars were given to four different children while trick-or-treating, according to FOX 29.

The person who reported the candy to police said they had seen a Facebook post describing a Snickers bar with needles in it, which led them to check their own candy.

Investigators said it was not known whether the candy was tampered with by a local individual or during some other level of the distribution process.
