Miss. parents could be graded like students soon

A new bill in Mississippi asks school teachers to grade both students and their parents.

It is called the Parent Involvement and Accountability Act. The legislation would add a section to each child's report card, just for parents. Parents would be graded on their responsiveness to communication with teachers as well as the students' completion of homework and test preparedness.

Absences and tardiness will also be factored into the parent's grades.
