McDonald's worker taunts, throws water at homeless man

A McDonald's employee in Detroit has been fired following outrage from a video where the worker is seen throwing water at a homeless man. In the video shot by a man from his car, the worker is at the drive-thru window when he calls over the homeless man.

"Hey, Willie. Come here. You want a sandwich? Come on, man. I'm about to help you," says the worker as the camera man and at least one other person can be heard laughing.

As the man approaches, the worker throws a cup of water at him.

"Why did you do that?" the homeless man asks before walking away.

Someone is heard saying "World Star," possibly a reference to the Hip Hop website where viral videos are often posted.

The man who shared the video on Facebook, Ebhate Skeez, bills himself as an aspiring rapper.

McDonald's released a statement:

"I am very disturbed by the inappropriate behavior of this employee," said McDonald's franchisee Wise Finley. "This type of behavior is not tolerated in my organization. I expect my employees to treat everyone with dignity and respect, and this was unacceptable. This individual no longer works for my organization."
