Man Sought In Two Attacks Of Women In Rancho Cucamonga

(FOX 11) Authorities are looking to identify a man believed to have assaulted two women in Rancho Cucamonga.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office, the first incident happened at about 10:45 p.m. May 2 near Church Street and Milliken Avenue. A woman was walking to her apartment on Church Street when she was punched by a man, who pulled her toward a darkened area.

The woman resisted and ran to safety, officials said.

The second incident was reported two days later, at about 10:30 p.m. May 4. Authorities said a woman was walking along Milliken Avenue near Foothill Boulevard when a man grabbed her from behind and sexually assaulted her. The suspect then fled before toward the Metrolink station on Azusa Court.

Both of the 20-year-old women were walking alone, sheriff's deputies said.

The man was described as black, in his 30s to 40s, 6 feet and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He was described with black hair and a scruffy beard. He was wearing a dark hoodie and other dark clothing.
