Women fight back against attacker in nail salon

A man is in custody for allegedly carjacking a vehicle in Van Nuys and then attacking three women in a nail salon in Sherman Oaks. The women fought back and the suspect was then overpowered with the help of employees from a nearby business and held for police.

Twenty-five-year-old Gustavo Aranda of Chatsworth was taken into custody about 10 Wednesday morning at the salon in the 13600 block of Burbank Boulevard. He was booked on suspicion of carjacking. The Los Angeles Police Department says that about 90 minutes after the carjacking ...
Aranda entered the nail salon and began hitting three women for no reason, punching them several times.

Employees from a neighboring business then came in and apprehended the assailant.
