Woman attacked, injured in home invasion robbery in Rosemead

A woman was injured in a home invasion robbery in Rosemead and authorities on Tuesday searched for the three men believed to have been involved.

Deputies responded about 10 p.m. Monday to a home in the 2500 block of Falling Leaf Avenue and located the injured victim, according to Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The woman told deputies she was awakened by three men in her home, who she said assaulted her and then ransacked the house, Koerner said.

The woman was hit with a crowbar, police said.

The woman was transported to a hospital in unknown condition and was not able to tell deputies what may have been taken from the home, said Koerner.

Detailed descriptions of the suspects were not immediately available.
