What you need to know about Disney's new Fastpass system

The Disneyland Resort's new MaxPass system debuts Wednesday, July 19 and it will allow guests to get a Fastpass from their smart phone via the Disneyland app. The new digital system costs $10 a day to use, or $75 a year for those with an annual pass.

Guests of the park now have the option of adding the Disney MaxPass feature to their ticket, which allows them to download, save and share all their Disney PhotoPass photos captured during the entire visit.

Here's a step by step video guide:

Those with a Signature Plus pass get MaxPass included. For those wanting a Fastpass without using the MaxPass system, they can still visit a kiosk at Disneyland or California Adventure to get one.

The benefits of having a MaxPass is that you can book Fastpass more quickly, have more flexibility, and save time, allowing you to get more use out of your day ticket or annual pass.
