VIDEO: Naked homeless man harasses shoppers in supermarket

The video is shocking. Sunday, a naked man in a wheelchair is recorded deep inside a Sunland grocery store - harassing shoppers.

He is a homeless man well known to locals of this foothill community. They've seen him near the 210 offramp, begging for change. One resident claims she's seen him in the street yelling at cars.

Still another told me that the same man flashed her 15-year old daughter. But it's Sunday's recorded incident that is bringing attention to this man - and more broadly, the homeless situation in Sunland-Tujunga.

One after another, residents told me the homeless situation has become untenable.

They used to stay mostly under cover at a popular location was the big Tujunga wash. But more recently, the homeless have taken refuge in area parks and even set up their camps along the sidewalk.

Locals claim they call the police for help, but it is always a low priority call.

Sunday's incident apparently went unreported. LAPD's Detective Stevenson told me he could find no record of a complaint to police about the naked man.

He did tell me, if the allegations are true, the man - who is well known to police, would be in violation of his parole. The allegations of indecent exposure could set him up to be registered as a sex offender.
