VIDEO: Bikers behaving badly on freeway in Corona

Hundreds of motorcyclists converged on the southbound 71 Freeway in Corona Sunday afternoon.

Video obtained by FOX 11 shows them swerving, passing on the shoulder, and doing wheelies.

One biker even did his own traffic break right in front of a car so other motorcyclists could pass by and then the group stopped traffic and blocked the off ramp of the 91 interchange.

Jonnie Little, a senior technician at Corona Motorsports said, 'They were from all over the place. There were out of state bikes, Colorado and Arizona not just California guys.'

The CHP says, it received several calls concerning the riders on the nearby 15 and 91 freeways too.

But they couldn't make it to the scene in time.

Little went on to say, 'It's not a good thing. Cars have to get through, they pay their DMV fees. The motorcyclists have no better right of way than a car does.'

The CHP says that if the riders are obeying traffic laws, there's nothing wrong.

But, if they're stopping vehicles and performing stunts that's when it becomes an issue.
