Two airlifted to hospital after vehicle goes 200 feet over Angeles Forest Hwy

LA CANADA-FLINTRIDGE, Calif. (FOX11) - Two people were injured after their vehicle went about 200 feet over the side of Angeles Crest Highway north of La Canada-Flintridge Wednesday night.

Rescuers responded just before 7 p.m. to the location at mile marker 27, near Angeles Forest Highway.

The victims were airlifted to a hospital; their ages, genders and conditions were not immediately available.

According to the California Highway Patrol the crash closed Angeles Crest Highway in both directions.
