At least three local victims in Oakland warehouse fire tragedy

At least three of the Ghost Ship fire victims are from Southern California.

Friends say Jonathan Bernbaum was one of those who lost their lives Friday night at the "Ghost Ship" music dance party in Oakland.

Tony Lund was close friends with Bernbaum and attended USC's School of Cinematic Arts with him.

He says the EDM community has lost an incredible talent.

Twenty-four-year old David Cline is another Ghost Ship fire victim from Southern California.

Cline was a UC Berkeley graduate from Santa Monica.

His brother Neil released a statement saying in part:

"David was an incredible man, an amazing brother, a perfect son and an inspiring friend to everyone who was fortunate enough to have him in their lives. Everyone who ever met David knows that his smile and his presence changed every person that was lucky enough to feel his warmth and light. He was kind, open, non-judgemental and excited about life and people."

Vanessa Plotkin's friends took to twitter over the weekend --desperate for information after they hadn't heard from her.

A family member of the Lakewood native released a statement to the San Francisco Chronicle saying in part:

"We're beside ourselves....this is just like a nightmare."
