The hottest ticket in town! Dodgers World Series amid a SoCal heat wave

This is the hottest ticket in town...literally! We're not just talking about baseball.

Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be a record-breaking World Series games...at least when it comes to the temperature.

On Tuesday, Triple digits are expected with temps hitting 100-degrees.

On Wednesday…even hotter as the mercury is expected to hit 102!

LA City Fire will set up its normal command post at Dodgers games. They typically have a few ambulances on site.

Stadium also contracts with private ambulances with LAFD providing additional support.

Historians say, the hottest World Series game to date was set back in 2001 in Phoenix, Arizona when the Yankees played the Diamondbacks. The high there reached 98 degrees.

The pre-Halloween heat wave is also expected to shatter local records too.

LA City Fire tells reporter Stephanie Stanton that extra resources are being deployed all across the Southland during the heat wave and throughout the Red Flag warning.

Firefighters will staff 15 additional engines and more than 60 personnel.
